We seek to make objects that are relevant and functionally simple—without conceptual, formal, or technological frills. These objects can be used seamlessly in urban environments, giving them a touch of warmth and standing the test of time.
We experiment with the possibilities of traditional techniques in order to bring ancestral language into the present. We seek originality in connecting our origins to contemporary objects, and we hope that our work will keep traditional techniques alive (and fresh). In all that we do, we aim to preserve local identities.
We see imperfection as an essential part of the beauty of an object.
